Sick List
Some of the usual list of suspects are still occupying the Sick Parade. At least with winter coming to an end many members may enjoy a little bit better health.
Several of our members have had hospital visits for various ailments and to those feeling poorly, we at the club wish you a speedy recover and look forward to seeing you soon. If you haven’t been mentioned it’s because I/we haven’t been told.
If you know of a member who is sick and hasn’t been included, please let us know.
Please Note: At the committee meeting held on Sunday the 12th November 2006 it was decided that the $100 draw would be discontinued. Having been run for approximately 31 years it is now becoming to much of a burden to coordinate, print tickets and then sell tickets. The Bar and Entertainment Committee has been charged with the challenge of coming up with some new ideas to provide members and guests with a bit of a punt. If you have any ideas that may be considered, please contact John Poole, Chairman of the Bar and Entertainment Sub-Committee.
Haven’t heard any concerns from the web site members about how they are now receiving their newsletter so I can only assume that it is happening all ok. Good news for all of us. If you are not currently receiving your newsletter via the net and you want to get onboard, just send me an email at snelson@webaxs.net and I will put you on the mailing list. Keep those jokes coming so that I can include them in the newsletter. The newsletter is so much better in colour…..
